There are only two rules:

downsized_102309onepiconeclic.jpgRainy Autumn Evening in Downtown Easton, PA54 viewsI almost forgot about this project until the last half hour before it was to happen! It was too late to go back home for a camera so I used the 3.2 MP camera in my cell phone. It was dark, rainy and dreary..... The streetlight and leaves looked pretty cool so I shot them for my pic. Later I took a few interesting shots of the downtown lights in the rain that also turned out well.16 commentsLorettaKillian

The look.jpgThe Look386 viewsI was taking photos of different happenings during AMARTITHI ( annual ceremonies of the day Meher Baba left his body) in Meherabad,India when I saw her eyes. The way she is looking at me and the sense I got through those innocent eyes ( the boy beside her is also looking but with a different impact ) made me to take this photo.I'm sure there is no need for more explanation. The Look is telling the story itself. 145 commentsshaahinshahablouNov 23, 2009

tinykitchen_Barrio La Cruz_ SJ_CR.jpgOur tiny kitchen83 viewsSince it isn't safe to go outside at 4:00 am alone in my barrio in San Jose, I took pictures of the tiny apartment I share with a friend. I don't live in San Jose, but when I visit, I stay here. I pay half the rent. My friend lives and works in San Jose. The electric "arrocera" is a must-have for most kitchens in Costa Rica. Rice is cooked in it and the national dish seems to be a rice and beans mixture called "gallo pinto." One can also see "the sock" which is the traditional way coffee is prepared.44 commentsmary thormanOct 29, 2009
