The Largest Photography Project Ever undertaken has been set.  In a single moment (rather than across a period of time) Project "One Click One Pic" goal is to catch the earth as it was on Saturday 24th October 2009 from vantage points all over the world

The 24th of October in 1946 was the date when the first ever photo of the earth was taken at an altitude of 65 miles by a 35-millimeter motion picture camera riding on a V-2 missile launched from the White Sands Missile Range (read more).

Many moments in time that have been caught on camera and many of these have had an impact in our lives in some way or another. Project "One Click One Pic" hopes to record a single point in history from across the globe.

Depending on how many participants we get will determine how much of earth we catch.  Its logical to think we wont be able to get much of it but we do hope to catch at least one image from every country, including Antarctica.  We have even already got one photographer who is jumping out of a plane at the right time to catch the earth from above.  Would be great to get one from outer space (who knows).

On completion of the project, Heapfo.com will look at creating a publication (including a full DVD of all Images) for historical purposes.  We ask for suggestions and or ideas on how this publication could be created.

We want everyone looking at this project to know we value your comments and it is in fact after several comments from people already about the project, that Heapfo.com has decided that if a publication and DVD are created from this project that they will donate all profits to a charity, scholarship for photography or worth cause as determined by the participants. This will  be determined at a later date.

We are very open to all suggestions to make this project a success.
